Diana is an experienced usability engineer, award winning human-centered designer, accessibility champion and digital strategist with more than 15 years of progressive experience in universal design and behavioural economics. She has dedicated her career to empowering the voices of the underrepresented through compassion and advocacy.
In leading the Digital Experience team at Alberta Blue Cross, Diana is dedicated to mentoring and coaching others to reach their potential through the discovery of purpose, passion and skill. She has been recognized for her extraordinary commitment to innovation and purpose-driven strategy. Focusing on long-term sustainable business practices and operational efficiencies, she has brought in new business growth and increasing retention rate on a multitude of digital platforms.
Diana holds a diploma in graphic design from Mohawk College, a conflict and negotiation certificate from NAIT (Northern Alberta Institute of Technology), a CSS/HTML certificate from NAIT, a web developer certificate from NAIT, a project leadership certificate from NAIT, a project Management certificate from NAIT, a leadership development certificate from the University of Alberta, a digital marketing, customer engagement, social media planning and analytics certificate from Columbia University, a women in leadership certificate from Cornell University and a design thinking certificate from the Banff Centre of Arts. She has also earned the globally CUA (Certified Usability Analyst) designation from Human Factors International and nationally recognized accreditations in CGD (Certified Graphic Designer) and RGD (Registered Graphic Designer) from the Graphic Designers Society of Canada.
