Executive Director of MobilityData
Passionate about data and public transit, Leo has been one of the early employees of Transit app, in which he was in charge of the consumption of public transit data in various data formats, and of the team in charge of cleaning, extending and preparing it for display to the users.
Afterwards, Leo joined the Rocky Mountain Institute’s Interoperability Transit Data initiative, which brought together stakeholders from across the industry to collaborate on developing solutions to the GTFS challenges. This project ultimately spun off into MobilityData, which Leo officially co-founded as a Canadian non-profit organization in 2019. He is since then the Executive Director, with an international growing team of 20 employees and a membership of more than 100 stakeholders.
