Lorna Jantzen is the Assistant Director of Data Partnerships at the Chief Data Officer Branch of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC). She has worked in the federal government for almost 30 years and since 2010 she has worked at IRCC. Throughout her career she has worked on a wide variety of data foundation projects, many of which are publicly available. At the Chief Data Officer Branch, she works closely with an array of data partners to leverage the potential of IRCC administrative data in environments that are open to academics and external decision makers. She also looks for avenues to communicate the potential of these data sources and their key findings to internal and external stakeholders.
Lorna holds a Master’s Degree in Political Science from the University of Waterloo.
